Benefits of a Timber Crate
If costs need to be kept to a minimum, but quality of packaging still needs to be of a high standard then a crate is a great alternative to a case. Supplied with standard gaps of 95mm between boards on the side-ends and lid, a crate uses less timber and weighs less overall. For this reason crates are a better option to consider when air freighting products.

Crates have good ‘stackability’ and can be manufactured from either Home Grown or Heat Treated Timber

Crates can also be lined with a variety of materials e.g. pitch paper, cardboard or polythene as the specific product requires.
